Killing Kittens – No It’s Not What You Think!

Killing Kittens - No It's Not What You Think!

There seems to be a misconception that geeky girls are virginal singletons locked away in their basement, laptop on lap and comic in hand. While that may be true for a very small proportion, it is not true for the majority. Now women are often deemed to be uninterested in sexual pleasure and all about emotional attachments but times are changing and if the success of the book 50 Shades of Grey shows us anything, it’s that this generation of females are more interested in sex and titilation than past generations. I see this as no bad thing, sexual liberation is one thing feminism fought to give us. After all if it is good enough for the guys, then why not for us women too.

So let me introduce you to Killing Kittens. Killing Kittens organise sex parties directly aimed at women. They offer a safe, fun and playful environment for women to let go, experiment and indulge their fantasies. The company was launched 7 years ago after the founder found that there wasn’t a whole lot out there that was aimed at women and that made women feel comfortable and safe.

Their parties are a way for females to experiment, explore and have fun in a location and setting that’s glamorous and exciting. They are internationally at various locations and Marie Claire magazine has deemed them as the home of the ‘sexual elite’.

The safety aspect is at the core of Killing Kittens way of doing things. All party attendees go through a stringent vetting process and all attendees arrive at the parties wearing a mask to conceal their identity. They can then choose whether to remove the mask or not. They also have 4 simple rules that all attendees must abide by:

  1. Girls make the rules and only girls can break the rules
  2. No means no
  3. Men cannot approach women
  4. Members only

The idea is that the women are always in control. so what they say, goes! Add to this the fact that single men may not attend these parties. Males will only be granted admittance when attending with a partner but single women are welcome to attend alone if they so wish. See how it’s more women-centric?

Prices range from £120-£150 per couple or £50 per single female.

Killing Kittens also has an online community where members may chat in forums and meet other like minded individuals. The above rules apply to the online community as well as the parties.

Now even if Killing Kittens isn’t for you (or me), it has to be a good thing that women have become more sexually liberated and free to experiment if they so wish. There was a time when that wasn’t the case.
