I love discovering new artists who haven’t yet hit the big time and one artist i’m particularly enjoying at the moment is London based singer/songwriter Archeo. It is hard to describe his sound as it is quite unique but the best way to describe it would be that it is a fusion of pop/r’n'b with some dance hooks thrown in for good measure and his songs are impossibly catchy. Upcoming single The Payback is a delightful slice of sunshine filled pop but with the sophistication of Jodeci. Remixed by none other than The Wideboys.
Archeo’s multicultural background plays a large role in his music with his influences wide ranging. Born to a mother from Panama and an Indian father he has also lived in Hong Kong and Nigeria. This is a singer that works hard at his craft and has an unrivalled passion for music.
