Originally a PSP game, now adapted into an anime series, La storia della Arcana Famiglia (アルカナファミリア) is an organization that protects Regalo, a beautiful island. The family has been responsible for protecting the business, safety and health of the people of the island for a long time. Now the leader of the family “Papa Mondo” is planning to retire, and to choose his successor he launches a tournament called “Arcana Duello”. The winner will not only become the leader of Arcana Famiglia, but also may request Papa Mondo’s daughter, Felicita, in marriage. The Arcana Famiglia uses the power of Tarocco to protect the island, and only those with the power of the Major Arcana are entitled to participate in the tournament. Only the winner of the tournament will know why Felicita has the power of “The Lovers” Arcana, which lets people know what lurks into their hearts.
So far there’s only one episode out there, but seems like a promising series. Do check it out.
